Head of the Center for International Energy Markets Studies, Energy Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Tatiana Mitrova is Head of the Center for International Energy Markets Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, a position that she has held since 2006. Her primary responsibility is analysis of developments on global energy markets and Russia’s energy export and import policy.
In 2006, she was appointed as an expert to the Energy Security Group (Steering Committee for Russia’s G8 Presidency). Ms. Mitrova has wide experience in working with Russian Energy and Economics ministries, as well as with major Russian and international energy companies (Gazprom, RAO UES, SUEK, TNK-BP, NOVATEK, Wintershall, StatoilHydro, etc).
Ms. Mitrova is a graduate of the Economics Department of Moscow State University.
