Vice President for International Development, GCAM Group
Since July 2008, Nicolas Iljine has been Vice President for International Development, GCAM Group, which is involved in consultancy on museum building, acquisitions, programming and management, as well as art investment.
Between 1971 and 1994, he worked in Public Relations at Lufthansa German Airlines, lastly as worldwide General Manager for Public Affairs. From 1994 until July 2008, he worked for the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in Europe & the Middle East in the fields of Corporate Development and Public Affairs.
He is Board Member for the Kandinsky Prize for Contemporary Russian Art, and in September 2006 received an Order of Friendship from then President Vladimir Putin.
